I smile everyday,

Not to pretend that everything is alright,

But because it is,

You are my reason,

My drive to hustle,

My ability to love,

You made me see not only the good in people,

But the goodness in myself,

With the constant encouragement to embrace who I am.

Loving you is naturally embedded into my soul,

I don’t see how people experience a love like ours and give up on it,

The energy between us is an unbreakable bond,

Build on loyalty and commitment.

People are so quick to throw in the towel,

Thinking the grass is greener on the other side,

Only to drown in there self proclaim bitterness and regret,

When if the bond you shared with them was strong enough,

Moving on would had never been an option,

Don’t die in a pool of wonders.

Our sky is outlined with an endless beam of light,

Showcasing who we are and what we are becoming,

Two souls emerging into one destiny,

With the belief that we can build something noteworthy and meaningful.

I believe in what we have defined to be us,

So free from society expectations,
